Brooklyn Golf Yards LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the websites brooklyngolfyards.com and related subpages (collectively, the “Site”), as well as the Brooklyn Golf Yards driving range and mini golf facility located at 3200 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11234, and the Rockaway Beach Country Club pitch-and-putt course located at 167-02 Rockaway Beach Blvd, Rockaway Park, NY 11694 (together, the “Facilities”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Site, make a booking, or interact with us in any way.

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

Information You Provide Directly

• Name, email address, phone number, and billing/payment information when booking a tee time, bay rental, league, tournament, camp, clinic, or outing through our Site or third-party booking platforms (e.g., Sweetspot).

• Correspondence you send us via email at hello@bkgolfyards.com or through any contact forms on the Site.

• Registration details for leagues, tournaments, camps, and clinics, including any waiver or consent forms completed on behalf of minors.

• Newsletter sign-up information, including your email address and communication preferences.

• Gameplay data you voluntarily enter or that is generated during use of our TopTracer-powered bays (see Section 5 for important details about TopTracer data collection).

Information Collected Automatically

• Log data such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps when you access our Site.

• Cookies and similar tracking technologies that help us understand how visitors use our Site. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not function properly as a result.

• Analytics data collected via third-party analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) regarding how users navigate and interact with our Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and confirm bookings, reservations, and registrations for our Facilities and programs.

• Send transactional emails, including booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts.

• Send our newsletter and marketing communications about upcoming events, tournaments, leagues, new features (such as TopTracer bays and mini golf), and promotions. You may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

• Administer tournaments, contests, leagues, and outings, including communicating with participants and, where applicable, sharing information with event sponsors as described in Section 4 below.

• Improve our Site, Facilities, and the customer experience based on usage patterns and feedback.

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions and other policies.

• Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions or other harmful activities.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Site and Facilities, including booking platforms (Sweetspot), payment processors, email marketing services, and analytics providers. These parties are contractually obligated to use your data only as directed by us and to protect it appropriately.

• Tournament & Event Sponsors: When you register for or participate in a sponsored tournament, contest, outing, or promotional event, we may share relevant participant information (such as name, contact information, and participation details) with the event’s sponsor(s). The sponsor’s use of that information is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours. We will make reasonable efforts to identify event sponsors at the time of registration.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Booking & Payment Platforms

Tee time and bay bookings are processed through Sweetspot (book.sweetspot.io). When you book through that platform, your information is also subject to Sweetspot’s own privacy policy. We encourage you to review third-party privacy policies before submitting personal information through their platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

5. TopTracer Range – Third-Party Gameplay Data

Our Brooklyn Golf Yards facility features TopTracer Range bays, a product of Toptracer (a Topgolf Callaway Brands company). When you use a TopTracer-enabled bay, Toptracer independently collects gameplay data, including shot data, device identifiers, and related usage information. This data collection is governed solely by Toptracer’s and Topgolf’s own privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy. We are a TopTracer Range operator and do not control the data Toptracer collects directly from you during gameplay. We encourage you to review Topgolf’s Privacy Notice at topgolf.com before using our TopTracer bays.

Any contests or promotions conducted through the TopTracer Range system are arranged by us as the facility operator. By participating, you agree that your information may be used in connection with the administration of such contests as described in Section 3 above.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels) to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and deliver relevant content. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain accurate business records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve any disputes. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal data retention procedures.

8. Minors & Teen Users

Our Site and Facilities welcome golfers of all ages, including juniors. The following guidelines apply based on age:

Users 13 and older

We permit individuals aged 13 and older to use our Site and book our Facilities directly. By using the Site, users aged 13–17 represent that they have the awareness and permission of a parent or legal guardian to do so. We encourage parents and guardians to discuss this Privacy Policy with their teen and to monitor their online activity. We do not use personal information collected from users aged 13–17 for any marketing or promotional purposes beyond transactional communications related to their booking.

Camps, Clinics & Junior Programming

For enrollment in our camps, clinics, and other structured junior programs, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who consents on behalf of the minor to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Children Under 13

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
